MedTech Angels Investment Process
Submit your pitch via our online application form. Provide a clear overview of your company, the problem you’re solving, your proposed solution, and the stage of development.
Step 2
Initial Screening
Our team reviews all submissions to assess alignment with our mission and investment criteria. Successful applicants are invited to our monthly Pitch Day and provided 10 minutes to present, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A
Step 3
Discovery
If sufficient members are interested after the Initial Screening, a 2-hour Discovery meeting will be scheduled for a deep dive into the business, market and financials.
Step 4
Due Diligence
If interest remains a diligence committee will take a deeper dive into financials, IP, management, data room review, etc. with the company.
Step 5
Term Sheet Negotiation
Upon completion of positive diligence period, interested MTA Angel Investors will begin the process of reviewing terms sheets or providing a term sheets to the company to negotiate the details of investment.
Step 6
Investment Decision
The MTA appointed deal lead works with the company leadership to put together the financing and execute on the investment opportunity.

Is your technology proven through rigorous testing, resulting in good data and has the ability to scale

Your intellectual property is secure, and your innovative idea remains solely yours
Sales Strategy
You have a well-defined plan to enter the market and establish your company within your product category
Potential Profit
Evidence of robust gross margins and predictable cash flow to drive scalability in your sector
Capital Requirements
How will the funds you raise be utilized, and what impact will they have on your business
Financials
Provide income statements, cash flow projections, and balance sheets to back up realistic and logical assumptions
Exit Strategy
You’ve developed a roadmap for exiting that ensures a return on investment for angel investors
Business Plan
A comprehensive strategy document detailing the foundations and actions needed for long-term scalability and success
